"Dr. Andrew Hall, the pastor at First Baptist Church in Fayetteville, posted a message on the church marquee that first appeared in the Wednesday Northwest Arkansas Times and then around the country in a wire-service picture. The message: ‘Attention Darrell Royal - Do Not Cast Your Steers Before Swine.’ Before the 1965 Texas-Arkansas game, the previous Fayetteville meeting (the ‘67 game was in Little Rock), Hall’s marquee message was: ‘Football Is Only a Game. Eternal Things are Spiritual. NEVERTHELESS BEAT TEXAS!’"
